Biography

Roxanne has been singing Christian music since she was a very young girl, having her first media experience at the age of eight on a TV show called Gospel Echoes. After her debut, she was asked to be a regular participant on the show as a soloist. At the age of fourteen, Roxanne accepted an invitation to sing for the southern gospel music group, The Masters', led by Cam Shillington. The Masters’ assisted Cam as the Host group for his syndicated television program Gospel Singing Time. During this time, Roxanne and the Masters' toured throughout Canada and the United States.
     When Roxanne was a young adult she appeared in concert at the Grand Ole-Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The Masters' became members of Canada's Opry North and were awarded Favorite Mixed Group by the Canadian Gospel Music Association. Roxanne also became a member of the contemporary Southern Gospel group The Revised Edition. They too traveled extensively to various church functions and appeared on television shows such as 100 Huntley Street.
     As she traveled and recorded Christian music, Roxanne received the honor of being named Canada's Top Female Vocalist by the Canadian Gospel Music Association, Four Years in a row.
   Her popularity with her audience is successful. Gained, through a Smooth delivery of vocals her friendly performance is noted on and off stage. Her devotion to her children obvious, Roxanne publicly admits “one award higher than them all”, that being the role of becoming a mother (three kids in all - Brandon; Amanda & Melissa.)
